Ex-PCB chief criticises Asia Cup scheduling after India-Pak match washout
Najam Sethi, former chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, has criticised the Asia Cup scheduling after the India-Pakistan match was abandoned due to rain in Pallekele. Sethi, who assumed the role of PCB chairman after Ramiz Raja’s departure, criticised the Asian Cricket Council for unjustly dismissing his proposal to stage the tournament in the UAE, instead accommodating Sri Lanka as a co-host.
