Pakistan batter urges Elon Musk, X to ban account ‘spreading hate’
Highlighting a fake post and misuse of verified accounts, Pakistan middle-order batter Iftikhar Ahmad tagged social media platform X, formally known as Twitter, and its owner Elon Musk, urging a ban against the user. The user shared an alleged quote of Iftikhar which read, “Whenever we have played against India it feels like we are playing against street children,” this quote was falsely attributed to him, which the batter vehemently denied and said the user was ‘spreading hate’ with such posts.
