Pankaj Advani wins World Billiards C’ship for record 26th time

Indian cueist Pankaj Advani clinched the IBSF World Billiards Championship title in Doha on Tuesday, marking an impressive record 26th victory in the tournament. In the final, he outplayed compatriot Sourav Kothari with a score of 1000–416, setting the stage for a rematch of last year’s title clash in Kuala Lumpur. Advani, who secured his first world title in 2005, showcased his dominance by winning the ‘long format’ for the ninth time and the ‘point format’ championship for the eighth time.
